Night Safari

The Singapore Night Safari is having a promotion charging only 50% of the entrance ticket for the whole month of March. The MAH-sters had actually thought of going on Friday but MAH-Let took too long to finish her dinner and hence, decided to go on Saturday instead.

MAH-Ge's friend, Alvin and family joined us. We met and had dinner at Bongo Burger. An expensive place and the food was nothing near good. Can you imagine a fast food joint charging $13 for a burger with chips or fish and chips? We didn't quite enjoy the dinner but we were entertained by the Dayak performers from Sarawak. They were fire blowing and eating. We had to explain to the kids that these are trained performers and they must NOT copy them.

While inside...my! was that place crowded! There were people everywhere we went. We had to dodge and squeeze and was really challenging pushing the stroller around. The queue for the show was also extremely long. People were already queuing for it an hour prior to the show! It was crazy! We didn't quite enjoy it there and left after a while. :(
