Those days when MAH-Let and MAH-Ge had the chicken pox were the days spent with lots of quality time together. As you know, chicken pox is contagious. But it's really not easy keeping a very active toddler and an adventurous man at home all the time! We took walks in the park, in open spaces where there are little or not a single soul around. Avoided people like they were the ones who got the disease!
The time when Mah-Ge was recovering was also the week leading up to our wedding anniversary on the 29th Jan. It was a week of quality time well spent together. We've never had the opportunity to take walks together as a couple since we had MAH-Let. There was always 3 of us. With MAH-Let in school, MAH-Ge was able to fish with MAH-Tai in tow, take drives around Singapore, walk along Ponggol Beach or even just lazing around watching television in the room.
