The MAH-Sters had always enjoyed staying at their apartment since we moved in 6 years ago. However, about 6 months ago, the MAH-Sters had new neighbours moving in next door. We've never had peace ever since then.
MAH-Tai was in the study room on the day that they moved in. The study room is the closest to the neighbour as it's separated by a wall. The boy kept throwing marbles onto the wall. The sound was irritating as it was not constant. It comes and goes and it goes on and on....
The neighbours enjoy karaoke a lot. Not that we mind but only if they keep their voices to themselves or the volume down. They sing like they are superstars and rockers! On 1 weekend, our relatives came for a visit. Their conversations were constantly drowned by the singers next door. Not able to take the noise anymore, Mel went over to ask them to turn down their volume. They did. But only for that day.
These neighbours have also contributed to the spits at our floor's lift landing. MAH-Tai pasted many notices on the wall at the lift landing, informing the "spitter" to be considerate to the other neighbours and keep the place clean. Each time, the notice will be torn down and the spitting continues. Everyday, it's like watching out for land mines, making sure we don't step on it. Once, MAH-Pet licked up the spit! Disgusting!
Their rubbish bags are also not thrashed into the common refuse chute at the service area. They had juices dripping out of these bags and they smell disgusting. 1 neighbour had to thrash the bags for them and wash the area. We've also done the same before. It's really disgusting and irresponsible of this neighbour.
Finally, not able to tolerate it anymore, MAH-Tai wrote to NEA. The officers came by today and spoke with them about spitting. They pretended to give all the neighbours the flyer about spitting. Let's hope things will be better from today. The MAH-Sters and the neighbours here are all looking forward to clean floors again!

Gosh! How to put up with such nasty neighbours??? Disgusting lei, spliting on the floor! Sign....tink there will be more to come. Tink you need some useful numbers like neighbourhood police one...kekeke. How to bear the karaoke session??Pray hard these ppl will become more considerate.
Veron, I really hope they will be more considerate. We are not the only ones complaining. The other neighbours too. But we took the action of informing NEA to clear up the mess and educate these inconsiderate ppl. Hope they will keep the place clean.
