Little Frakenstein

Here's an update of MAH-Tini after his visit to the Child neurologist. The doctor saw the video which I'd recorded of MAH-Tini's twitches and said that such seizures may be complicated and had recommended that we do an EEG to see if they are behavioural seizures, which children will normally grow out of or if it's something which he might need medication for a year or 2 to control them.

After the EEG was done, he was not able to detect anything from the recordings of the brainwaves and had told us to record any episodes which he might have within the month and return for a review next month. I really hope MAH-Tini will not have any more of such involuntary twitches and that he's a healthy baby!

Here are some pictures which we took and showed it to MAH-Let when we came home. We'd wanted MAH-Let to know what MAH-Tini was going through, as part of the family and to love him more as a caring big sister. Our maid, Yati cried after seeing 3 pictures and couldn't bring herself to see anymore.

MAH-Tini getting hooked up on the wires. It didn't hurt as they only pasted the wires on him. No needles or anything that will hurt him. But I guess, it was really uncomfortable to have so many wires attached to the head.

He was put to sleep with a very bitter medicine before the plugged him up

They wrapped his head up with bandage to prevent him from pulling the wires out. They needed to record about 30 mins of him sleeping and another hour or so of him awake

Still drowsy

The cheeky fella. He was given toys to play with but he was too drowsy to concentrate on playing

His head looked like he had vernix on after removal of all those wires. It's actually the cream that glued the wires on to his head

He was still drowsy from the medicine the whole day and slept through the journey home on the train.
