It was MAH-Ge's birthday yesterday. He took leave to spend time with the family.
As we had nothing much planned for the day, Uncle Jimmy called to ask us out for lunch at Regazzi. Wow! You cannot imagine what he oredered! There were 3 salmon steaks, 1 king prawn and seafood Spaghetti, 1 Spaghetti Bolonaise, 1 Spaghetti Al Funghi, 1 garlic bread (but the stall gave us another set as the 1st set was a little charred) and a mushroom salad! Yes, we finished them all!!!!
As MAH-Ge needed to pick up something from the mechanic, we went there and then went to a car accessory shop to look for a shock absorber, then, we went to Novena Square to buy a glove for MAH-Let and MAH-Ge and shopped for a little while.
Having no where else to go, we headed to East Coast Beach to take a walk. Afterwhich, it was time for dinner. We circled round East Coast Road but as it was Monday, most of the restaurants were closed!
By 8pm, we were hungry and MAH-Ge decided to eat at Melben, the butter crab place. We called Uncle Jimmy and Aunty Cindy along to join us. It was a wonderful dinner indeed and with great company. Well, at least MAH-Ge enjoyed himself and that's most important.
As we didn't manage to get a cake, but bought doughnuts instead. We placed a candle on the doughnut and sang MAH-Ge a birthday song before the end of the day. That was MAH-Let's most enjoyable part.
