There were so many activities that we tried to squeeze in to this day! After breakfast and checked out of Smith's Beach Resort, we went to Canal Rock. Sea water splashes into the rocks that had formed a canal over the years. The thunderous waters were scary. We couldn't cross to the other side of the bridge as we were afraid of getting wet!
We went to the Sheep Shearing Shed and MAH-Let had the opportunity to bottle feed the lambs. The lambs were so hungry that they were sucking the bottle so vigorously that we dropped the bottle! Oops! :P
We went to Margaret River to have lunch at Chooks, a fast food joint like Kentucky Fried Chicken. Then, went to the cheese shop for some cheese and Candy Cow to grab some sweets. MAH-Let bought a lollipop for Jaden. How sweet....Next, we went to the chocolate factory and bought lots of chocolates! MAH-Tai's favourite!
It was to Busselton Jetty next. This jetty is 2km long! I wonder if it's 1 of the longest in the world? You can see people fishing. There's an underwater viewing gallery and a train that plies along the jetty. Unfortunately, they were both under renovation. We walked halfway and decided to walk back to shore.
On our way back to Perth, we went past Harvey Town and MAH-Ge took a picture of the street sign with his name on it! Harvey Town is famous for their beef! And then, it was dinner at a small hotel in Waroona. Very cosy small little restaurant with great food! We had beef, of course! It was a very long drive back to Perth today. Poor Peter. He'd been driving throughout our whole trip! But we had lots to see!
