Makan Adventure in Kota Tinggi and Sedili

As Uncle Jimmy's charter was cancelled, we decided to make a trip to Kota Tinggi and Sedili to check out the places to eat and maybe to fish for Uncle Jimmy and MAH-Ge

This is in Kota Tinggi. MAH-Ge came here before during one of his trail biking trips and highly recommended that we come here for breakfast. We were so charmed by the sizzling pot of bak kut teh that we forgot to take a picture of the food. This is already the end of it. All the tummies were full

We stumbled upon this seaside lookout. Not quite the ones you see in Australia

Checking out the snacks and drinks we have in the ice box. Aiyoh...the nuts are already expired! Why did MAH-Ge bring it along?!


We drove inwards and found this quiet seaside resort. There's not a human soul in sight other than the receptionist. It's not cheap as well.

There was a river in sight! MAH-Let and Uncle Jimmy quickly set up their fishing gear and started at their game. MAH-Ge caught a tiny garoupa almost immediately but it was all quiet after that

We finally had lunch at 2.30pm. We weren't exactly hungry since we had a very heavy breakfast. We just went to the 1 which had more people in there. The food must be good.

Again! We tucked in as soon as the food came and we forgot to take a picture of all the delicious food! We had baby lobsters, steamed threadfin salmon, prawns, crayfish and veg. All for only close to S$100!

On the way out, we saw a sign that said Ostrich Farm. As MAH-Let hasn't exactly seen an ostrich before, MAH-Ge took her in while we waited outside. Here, the man cracks an ostrich egg to show its content. It can make 25 omelettes.

The curious ones

MAH-Let rode on an ostrich. When she came down, she fed it but was pecked on her finger instead. MAH-Let came out of the enclosure crying. Poor girl had a nightmare when she slept last night.
